An Interview With A Blogger by Veena- Rico meets Bheb
1. When did you start blogging?
I started blogging this year, June. I am on blogspot during that month. Then I officially launched my blog on wordpress on August 25, 2015.
2. Describe your blog in 5 words.
Personal, couples, travel, lifestyle, backpacking
3. Based upon your experience, what is the best thing about blogging?
The best thing about blogging is connecting to other people around the world; either you are a follower or a blogger. It seems like there is no competition between bloggers. They are helping each other, giving tips and advice, they get you inspired to work more on your blog. This experience is great! Also, I am gaining lots of friends through my followers. It’s really awesome!
4. What is your favorite post and why? (you can provide the link too)
My favorite post is the “Top 5 Nonsense Excuses for Not Going to a Travel”
http://www.ricomeetsbhebs.com/top-5-nonsense-excuses-for-not-going-to-a-travel/
It’s my favorite because it’s my first post where I expressed myself. There is also a story behind that post. Instead of inspired while writing that, I am actually upset with my friend because I am asking her to come on a travel but she has so many excuses. So all my feelings and what’s on my mind is there. Haha!
5. Do you take pictures for  your blog yourself or someone else does that?
When I am travelling with friends, yes I do take pictures for my blog. But when with Rico, we both take the pictures not just for our blog, but also for good memories. I also use images from Pixabay or similar websites. Sometimes, from other bloggers then I credited to them.
6. How organised are you when it comes to blogging?
I am very organized! I want my readers to easily navigate our site.
7. Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block? If so, how do you deal with it?
Yes. Sometimes when I wanted to write but get stuck because nothing comes out of my mind, I get some inspiration. I went to other blogs and get some ideas. More often, I don’t force myself writing so I just close my computer and do something fun like listening to music or watch movies or go outside. Through that, I get ideas and get start when I get back.
8. Where do you see your blog in the next 2 years?
I see our blog is growing like there is a community in it that it’s not only me who share experiences, but also my followers.
9. Do you find most/some/all of your fellow bloggers helpful?Share one good experience with a fellow blogger.
I met a lot of bloggers with the same niche. They are really helpful. Some of them give blogging tips and advice. But I can count on my hands how many of them are very supportive. And most of them are beginners. We have this bond like supporting each other and learning from each other. Yes, bloggers that are already established their names in blogging gave us advice and inspirations. But without each other (the beginners), I can’t pass through the next level. That’s why I’m also helping other beginners because I have been there and I know the feeling of starting a blog without full support and you can call as your friend.
10. What is the most craziest thing you did for your blog?
Not at the moment. Maybe there will be on the future. I can’t tell.
11. Favorite item in our wardrobe.
Our couple jacket. I use that every time I am on a travel, with or without Rico.
12. Best qualities about you.
I do what it takes to get what we want. Our blog is about travelling. We have no sponsors to get a free trip, Rico and I both working from 9 to 5 and we both have debts (loans) that needs to be paid. Despite all of that, I manage and do everything just to keep us travelling.
13. Worst traits you want to change.
Traits of an introvert. Haha! I have so many questions in my mind, but I’m afraid of asking questions because I’m too shy to do so. That’s the first thing that I want to change. Maybe it will be change through blogging 
14. On a scale of 10, 10 being the highest. Rate yourself as :
a. photographer   8
b. writer   7
c. artist   8
15. Your biggest fear.
Losing people I love, especially my mother.
16. Your favorite blogger/Youtuber.
World of Wanderlust. I just knew about her weeks ago and she’s awesome! She is a solo traveler and she managed to take her photos all by herself.
17. Best tip you can give to a new blogger.
For new bloggers, don’t be afraid to explore and make a pitch. You have to let your readers know you through your writings. So when you write, just be yourself. If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask. There are groups in Facebook that will surely help you. And most importantly, find a friend. Remember that you can’t succeed only by yourself especially when you are new to blogging.
18. We all need to relax at some point. What do you do to relax yourself?
Obviously, I travel. It’s my way to get away from stressful work everyday.
19. As a woman, what hurdles/difficulties do you face in the society you are a part of? How are you dealing with it?
Here in the Philippines, even you are already at 20’s and working, you still live with your parents unless you already get married. You have no freedom. You have to consider your parents when you are making a decision. And that’s so hard. Other woman with my same age didn’t respect their parents and just walk away from home to have their freedom. In my situation, I keep on trying to explain my decision and didn’t make a move until my parents allow me to. I always want to have a harmonious relationship with my parents that’s why their approval is very important to me.
20. What is your dream job?
I want to have a business. A travel business.
