Hello Gorgeous girls!

Easy peasy BB cream recipe just right here! 😀

Let’s start first with the question:

What is BB cream?

BB stand for Beauty Balm. It is made to be an all-in-one product to replace primer, moisturiser, foundation and sunblock. Can be worn alone or with foundation on top or under face powder, totally depends on your preference as per your skin type and desired coverage.

What you need:

Foundation

Face Primer

Moisturiser

Sunblock if your moisturiser doesn’t have SPF.

face powder or loose powder , cornflour is advisable for very oily skin

Face Serum (optional)

Empty container

Any stick to stir

How:

There is no fixed measurement for this one as we all have different skin type and skin tone. If you have dry skin, you might want to add more moisturiser and very less powder, if oily skin you might want to add more cornflour etc.

So basically you need to take equal portions of each ingredient. Start with very less quantity as it is going to be first time, you can always add more if desired but if mistake happens with huge quantity , you will have difficulty adjusting.

Start with half tsp of each. With mine, I added half 1/4 tsp of face powder and 1/4 of cornflour as I want more matte finish due to my oily skin. Just mix everything thoroughly till it is smooth and all clumps are gone. Keep in a clean container and your BB cream is ready!

Set your BB cream with loose powder if you have super oily skin to make it last longer.

  1. Thank you for sharing Veena last time I tried BB cream it was awful, it was a good brand but it turned out I was allergic to it and I have never tried it again. However if I am making my own one it gives me the freedom to create a cream that is not going to hurt my skin.http://www.fadedspring.co.uk

  2. This is such a good idea! I prefer a heavier coverage than a BB cream so it’s not something I think I’ll be trying, but it’s always fun to experiment! 🙂
