Here you go guys, another home-made recipe for you skin. This would suit all skin types and is beneficial for acne prone , dry and sensitive skin too. Even for normal skin types, this mask will do no one any harm and instead is very good as oatmeal contains amino acids that are beneficial for skin’s health, it is hypoallergenic which means even the most problematic skin can benefit and is a very good moisturizer when combined with other ingredients.
SIMPLE OATMEAL FACE MASK
You will need:
- Oatmeal – 2 tbsp
- Warm water-1 tbsp
Please note, you can always adjust the measure according to your need. Aim is to form a paste consistency like any masks. Sticky enough to stay on the skin and not too watery. I prefer using hot water enough to dissolve the oatmeal 60% leaving few particles undissolved so I can exfoliate with that before washing.
Mix these two ingredients to form a paste and apply all over face , leave it on for 20 t 30 minutes then rinse. You can also replace water with milk for a softer skin.
Honey Oatmeal Face Mask
You will need:
- Oatmeal-2 tbsp
Mix all ingredients together to form a paste. Apply all over face and leave for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water. This recipe is best for acne prone skin as honey will help heal acne and blemishes.
Add, turmeric powder and lemon juice to these recipes for whitening properties.
