Hola Amigos!! Here I am with my 3 favorite drugstore foundations and I will be comparing them with Huda Beauty Faux Filter foundation. I mean, why not? This will answer many questions and clear many people’s doubts esp those asking me whether I prefer HB Faux filter foundation over my current faves. So let us just get started with it.

I have combination to Oily skin and the foundations I use are all suitable for oily skin ones also.

My top 3 favorite foundations are mostly drugstore. I can’t help it, they are the best and I love how my skin looks and feel when I have them on. The reason I am testing them against Huda Beauty foundation is because for me, these are my BEST of the Best products and after HB claims to give filter effect/finish, how could I just not test them accordingly.

So we are talking about Milani 2 in 1 Conceal + Perfect foundation, Maxfactor Facefinity 3 in 1, Karaja Photofinish pore minimizing foindation Vs. HudaBeauty Foundation.

Let’s discuss Huda Beauty Foundation first before we move on to the other 3 products so we know what we are comparing here.

Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation:

Disclaimer: This is my review, my feedback and my opinion on HB foundation based on how it performed on my skin. The pros and cons will be stated so do not expect this post to be “OMG my Holy grail” or ” WTF fail Product” kinda post.

Huda Beauty Faux Filter foundation retails for AED185 at www.sephora.ae . Use one pump of product at first and blend properly as it is FULL coverage so you won’t need a lot. If you feel the need of adding, then only do it. It looks cakey on my skin , sits on my pores and fine lines DEFINITELY DO NOT give a “Filter” effect. Full coverage does not mean filter finish. Please get that thing straight. if you have naturally smooth and tight skin then yes, you will get the filter effect but then in that case many foundations will give you filter effect. In my opinion, in this real world, only snapchat gives you filter effect. In fact it made my pores more visible. I had it on for maximum 9 hours only as that’s the most I can stretch it to because by that point it started to crumble up on some areas on my face like forehead and around mouth so it was just smart to let it go. I found a buffing brush and a sponge to be the best ways to apply it. I believe this foundation will suit very oily, oily and combination to oily skin types. For dry skin , I think it will not look so flattering because of the cakey, powdery effect but of course you can try. So long story short , the Huda beauty faux filter foundation is a full coverage foundation that is not out of the world as people perceive it to be,definitely not the only one foundation that will give same result and I will show you 3 other foundations with same if not better result.

*Is it a bad foundation?

Definitely not.

*Is it better than Estee Lauder Double wear as it sounds almost the same?

Really depends on you but I will stick to my EL Double wear.

* Is it worth the price?

Heck no, scroll down you will know why . But if you love Huda then it will be worth your money.
