Lush …the word itself gives a feeling of freshness at its peak! Who agrees to this? I am a big fan of this brand ever since I visited one of their outlets and was spellbound by the heavenly smell around. I had the urged of trying each and every product.
I was on cloud 9 when I received a lot of hair products from them as gift. I tried them, used them and now I am so happy to share with all my thoughts on the products. This post is about the first product I tried and been using until now. Guys, this might sound funny but I got lot of goodies from them and all related to hair , don’t be shocked if I say I feel like taking shower three times every day. had it been not damaging to hair , I would have done that too for the sake of Lush 😛
Lush Big Sea Salt Shampoo Price AED137/330g
The packaging: It reminds me of ice cream a lot. Many times my kids thought it was really ice cream and that mommy is hiding them inside the drawer. LOL I had to open and show them to believe. It is a typical Lush packaging, with the theme black. Best part is it is labelled properly, with a description of the product, instruction on how to use, manufacturing date as well as clear expiry date mentioned, It also has an info on who made the item which excites me God knows why!
This is what Lush says:
Sea salt is also full of minerals and de-greases hair, removing dead skin cells and dirt without stripping natural oils for a fresh, squeaky clean feeling. We balance the sea salt with seaweed infusion, extra virgin coconut oil and avocado butter for soft, nourished locks. Finally, fresh citrus juices are squeezed in for incredible shine. It’s no wonder this one is a best-seller
How to use: Work a small amount into lather and rinse thoroughly. Follow up with Lush conditioner for soft tresses.
My Feedback:Â
This is one of my top most favorite product from the lot I received. The salt particles in it intrigued me a lot about what the results would be. What if the huge coarse salt gets stuck in my hair? This was all that I worried. It actually was the easiest to use. The product is not too liquidy but not as thick as cream too. It is somewhere between a cream and a typical shampoo texture. I lathers so beautifully that a little goes a long way. I have long hair and 1 teaspoon full was enough to lather my whole hair. Once the product was on my hair I couldn’t feel any salt particles and after rinsing, my head was clean and clear. I think the salt dissolves immediately. It smells so good inside the container and smells even better after the hair is washed.
This product is made using all natural ingredients, it is purely vegan , no added preservatives because salt is a natural preservative already. If you have sensitive hair or scalp, this shampoo is your best bet due to the safe ingredients, it has different oils that nourishes your hair and maintains the health of your beautiful locks.
My hair is naturally greasy and this shampoo leaves my hair very soft, non-greasy, very fresh and above all smells really fresh even after wearing my scarf the whole day, the aroma and freshness remains. That’s too much of “fresh” but can’t help it. I say how I feel.
Is it worth buying? Yes, definitely. For the price, you get 330g of product and as I said, a little goes a long way.
