Been wanting to get hold of this baby the ELF Studio Moisturizing stick and try it on as it looks so impressive.
So here is a quick review on it.
The consistency is just perfect! It’s very light and glides on very smoothly on your skin. I tried applying this using y fingers, brush and beauty blender. With fingers and brush, i was able to spread it all over very easily. I don’t recommend beauty blender for this though as I personally use beauty blenders for heavy foundations with thick consistency, but it really depends on your choice. As I always say, play around with what you have to get the perfect look.
Had to upload two different picture for you to check how it looks on the skin and have idea of the consistency.
For those who wants a very light make up, this one is for you. It gives a very light coverage and looks natural on the skin provided you get the right shade. I used the shade “natural” as shopping online for foundations is kind of tough so just to be safe. As you see int he picture, it just blended so well with my skin and is giving an almost natural look. I have a combination skin and I had to set this with loose powder twice or thrice as my skin gets too oily in Summer plus the fact that this foundation literally moisturizes your skin. If you have dry skin then this is just for you. And yeah, it does last longer, to be honest just had it on for 5 hours and it looked perfect so I’m hoping it will last longer.
Hope the review was useful. <3

I’m a fan of ELF because they don’t test on animals. However I developed allergies and can’t use their product anymore. I miss ELF, so I’ll live vicariously through you 🙂
Aww that’s sad to hear you developed allergies as ELF has a wide range of products for us to explore and I’m still in the process.
You’re most welcome to live vicariously through me. LOL as I have many more E.L.F stories to share <3
Yeah, I can’t wear anything but hypoallergenic make-up now or my eyes tear terribly and end up red for days. I use Gabrielle Lux Cosmetics and Mineral Fusion. 🙂
Hope you have reviews on these brands in your blog, will surely visit to have a check 🙂
I might have put up something when I first discovered them. Maybe it’s time to do an update 😉
I also have combination skin, and i’ve found this foundation hard to use,it sinks in fine lines, and i have to use moisturizer before 1 minute of aplication so be able to blend it,and it dry my skin, not moisturize.i will give it another run in the summer, when my skin gets more oily
I guess my skin is normal to oily then . Not suitable for me at all. But sets well with loose powder. It’s very hot here already maybe one of the reasons it gets runny.
Yes,i don’t think this foundation is for dry skin at all, such a bummer
I only know of Elf through working at our local Winners store here in Ontario. I noticed that it sold out really quickly before I could pick any up myself. I don’t work there anymore ( more than a year now) but I wish I could find it somewhere closer to me now. I love there eye shadows.
